Trapped in the Drive-Thru

Something that's been bothering me recently that I never thought much about in the past is how drive-thrus rarely include escape routes. Once you're in line there, you have to wait it out, even if you change your mind, which can be annoying if you underestimate the amount of time you'll need to wait. I had that problem at Dunkin' Donuts before, and at the bank today. Obviously the logistics of having a way out of a drive-thru line wouldn't quite work out, but it would be nice if it were possible.

Thanks to slfcllednowhere, I took this quiz to determine which of the current presidential candidates matched my own views. Here are the results I got:

Kucinich 67
Gravel 58
Clinton 45
Edwards 44
Obama 42
Dodd 40
Richardson 40
Biden 35
Paul -6
Giuliani -15
McCain -16
Thompson -20
Cox -43
Huckabee -46
Brownback -50
Romney -61
Tancredo -62
Hunter -63

Not too surprising, and it figures that the Democratic candidates who agree with me the most are ones who aren't polling all that well. I honestly hadn't thought much about sanctions on Iran. I believe I said "support" for that one, since I figured that, if the United States is determined to Do Something About Iran, that would be far preferable to war. But I can't say I've heard anyone's arguments either for or against this idea, so it's still somewhat up in the air for me. I'm kind of surprised that none of the questions addressed taxes, considering that many Republicans, especially, seem to vote based solely on this issue. I remember hearing that Gravel had some kind of new tax proposal, but I don't know enough about it to determine whether or not I agree with it.
