The Lovers, the Dreamers, and Me

Believe it or not, I had never seen The Muppet Movie until last night. That doesn't mean I wasn't totally Muppetly Illiterate; I did see The Muppets Take Manhattan, and watched The Great Muppet Caper several times. I never watched the TV show, but I just generally didn't watch that much TV as a kid. Anyway, I really liked the movie, but I realize I'm not exactly breaking any new ground by saying that. I know bethje found some of the bad puns groan-worthy, but I have an appreciation for such things. I'm sure you couldn't tell, could you? :P

I think I've fallen out of the mood for working on my latest Oz manuscript. The rough draft is almost finished, so I should probably stick with it until it is, but endings are usually difficult for me anyway. I've heard people say that, if you're interested in writing, you should do it every day, but I've never really been able to work that way. I have bursts of productivity followed by dry spells. Not writer's block per se, just lack of desire to write. Oh, well. It's not like I have delusions of being a professional writer or anything. I mean, I've thought of it before, but while I do enjoy writing, there are many reasons I could never do it for a living. The fact that most of what I write (both fiction and otherwise) is of very narrow interest is part of it, but not even the main part. I would like to be published someday, though. Okay, I do have that one story in Oziana, but it really didn't garner much feedback. In case you haven't noticed, I like feedback, and that's really all the return you can get when doing unpaid writing.
